Students need to be proficient in rearranging and using mathematical formulas in their high school science courses.
Many students have difficulty applying the concepts they’ve learned in algebra to the scientific equations they encounter in science.
In this self-paced online course, students will review the parts of a mathematical equation. They will practice rearranging many of the scientific formulas they will encounter in chemistry and physics. They will also learn to apply the correct order of operations (PEMDAS) to scientific formulas with mixed operations.
Videos, practice problems, and periodic quizzes are used to help students apply what they learn throughout the course.
