My son (9th grade) used the Biology Lab Video Course to add a lab component to his homeschool biology curriculum. I was so impressed by this video course! It was really easy to implement because the supply list is provided right away. I always find it easier to do experiments if everything we need is already in the house. I bought all of the supplies and my son just gathered what he needed for each lab activity. Each video starts with an explanation and review of the topic. This was really helpful. Dr. Moon has a gift for breaking complicated scientific processes down into easily understandable pieces. Then Dr. Moon performs each lab activity. I liked that my son could watch her do a portion, pause the video, and do it himself before continuing the video. My son especially appreciated the video when it was time to do a dissection. He was a little too squeamish to do the dissection himself, but he still learned the material because he was able to watch Dr. Moon do it. This is the best biology lab course I have ever seen. I definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to earn high school biology lab credit.

We really enjoyed this course. I did NOT want to teach Biology to my high schooler. This video series made it so easy to follow along with the experiments and we really enjoyed comparing Kristin’s results to ours. We ALL learned a lot this year, not just the teen.
