My son (9th grade) used the Biology Lab Video Course to add a lab component to his homeschool biology curriculum. I was so impressed by this video course! It was really easy to implement because the supply list is provided right away. I always find it easier to do experiments if everything we need is already in the house. I bought all of the supplies and my son just gathered what he needed for each lab activity. Each video starts with an explanation and review of the topic. This was really helpful. Dr. Moon has a gift for breaking complicated scientific processes down into easily understandable pieces. Then Dr. Moon performs each lab activity. I liked that my son could watch her do a portion, pause the video, and do it himself before continuing the video. My son especially appreciated the video when it was time to do a dissection. He was a little too squeamish to do the dissection himself, but he still learned the material because he was able to watch Dr. Moon do it. This is the best biology lab course I have ever seen. I definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to earn high school biology lab credit.

We really enjoyed this course. I did NOT want to teach Biology to my high schooler. This video series made it so easy to follow along with the experiments and we really enjoyed comparing Kristin’s results to ours. We ALL learned a lot this year, not just the teen.

Dr. Moon does it again! I purchased the Chemistry lab video course for my son last year, and he learned SO MUCH! He took an asynchronous course with Dr. Moon along with her lab course, and my wish that he love science again came true. This year we were unable to take the biology course with her, but my son insisted on her biology labs because they work so well with any science curriculum you use. It is such a comprehensive lab video course, and I love that there is a “mini lesson” before starting the lab which my son feels is so helpful. Science labs had been such a struggle for us until we found Dr. Moon, and biology is coming alive for him with these labs. No more questions if the lab was done correctly because Dr. Moon shows what to do step-by-step, and my son loves to compare his answers with Dr. Moon’s. Thank you, Dr. Moon, for reigniting that love of science in my son!

I wanted to add that my son wanted to share that Dr. Moon is very enthusiastic in her lab video course, it is easy to understand her, and it is very obvious she loves what she does.

We had such a wonderful experience with this biology lab course! As a science-loving family, this truly felt like a special treat for us.
Dr. Moon is a fantastic teacher — clear, engaging, and very easy to follow. My daughter was able to independently complete the labs alongside her without confusion, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The instructions were straightforward and well-paced, giving her confidence as she worked through each activity.
One of the things we appreciated most was the flexibility. The labs pair perfectly with any curriculum, so we could easily integrate them into what we were already using. That made it incredibly convenient without sacrificing quality.
Overall, this course brought science to life in our home. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to enrich their biology studies with hands-on, well-guided labs!
